"We fell in love with the OBX when we first rented a little beach house in Corolla in 1998.  We've tried to return every year, and in 2005 we stayed at the Army-Navy clubhouse.  Now we plan to return to this house every year.  Hands down, the Army-Navy clubhouse has the best combination of amenities for the whole family.  We especially appreciated the attention to detail, like the high chair in the kitchen, the hammocks on the deck, *two* dishwashers, and wireless internet that was sooo easy to access.  Also, the coffee deck was a big hit with the kids because they could "camp out" and blow bubbles while we were only a few feet away relaxing in the family room.  The house is so entertaining that we didn't even mind staying indoors when it rained."--Nikki and Alex Salunga


"The house was great! I wanted to tell you that the best feature of the house was the kitchen! That is one awesome kitchen! We always eat every meal in as a group so to have a kitchen that big was wonderful. Each night a different couple is in charge of making dinner - that was you only have to cook once the entire week.  You guys did a great job decorating the house. Jennifer and some girlfriends got together for a Scrapbooking Weekend at the house. As you can see by the “completed pages” picture, they got quite a bit completed in between singing karaoke, drinking girlie drinks, going to the beach and eating seafood. Jennifer said the best part was having a weekend with friends and no kids :)
